TERMS OF SERVICE
Payment
▼ Online payment through PayPal only. Payment must be sent before commission work is started.
▼ Payment must be in USD (American) currency
▼ Discussions between the artist and client will be through email. The artist’s email is [email protected]
▼ Client will receive a WIP sketch of their piece for approval. Edits/corrections can be made once, but edits after that point may require an additional fee (unless the artist has made a mistake ie: incorrect markings, etc).
▼ Refunds: If the client’s commission has not been started, a full refund can be given, if desired. If the sketch of a the piece has been completed, 0% of the commission price may be refunded. If the commission is complete, a refund will not be given.
▼ The artist has the right to decline a commission at any time. If the client’s commission has not been started, a full refund can be given, if desired.
▼ Auctions: Payment is due within 72 hours of the auction closing. If a user retracts a bid, they may be banned from future auctions.
Time frame
▼ In general, deadlines are not strict, but it is the artist’s goal to complete each piece within a reasonable amount of time. The time frame from start to finish on each commission varies depending on the complexity of the piece, communication between artist and client, and events taking place in the artist’s life. If the client is interested in a deadline, this may be possible, but must be discussed ahead of time with the artist.
▼ When the commission is finished, a high resolution file will be sent to the client.
Copyright
▼ 100% of the rights of the commissioned piece remain with the artist. The artist may post or distribute commissioned work online, and make digital or hard copies for archive, promotion or sale. The artist reserves the right to recolor and/or alter any commissioned pieces for their own use or sale.
▼ The client may not use their commissioned artwork for profit (ex: using the image on merchandise).
▼ The client may post their commissioned artwork online with credit to the artist.
